Kent Goat Farm

FORMstudio are developing proposals for a biodynamic micro-dairy/goat farm in Kent, producing a range of specialist regional goat cheeses & goat meat. The scheme includes a new dairy facility for cheese making, maturing areas and cave, a winter barn for the Nubian goats, and a new home for the owner.

The contextual contemporary low energy design is partially submerged into the contours of the landscape, with forms and facing materials that reference Kentish farm buildings, and an internal layout that continues the very practical tradition of the farmer living above the livestock.
